A moment to Save the World Part

Civilized society depends on proper education built on a healthy foundation. But
the only true foundation for education is the same as that of all of creation: "In
the beginning, G-d created the Heavens and the Earth."
Germany was the most intellectual nation of its time, including in the study of
ethics and philosophy. But without the "foundation of wisdom" -- the knowledge
of G-d, they immediately sank to unimaginable depths of inhumanity.
There is only one way to ensure that a child grows up to be decent and upright:
He must be taught to begin each day by acknowledging G-d, the Creator, Who
wants this world to be governed by morality and holiness. He must know that G-d
is above and beyond every human being, yet is a personal G-d Who is aware of
everything the child does.

Parents rely on the Public School System to rear their children into mature,
responsible adults. Their children are imbued with the values of this country's
sense of pride: That "My own power and the strength of my hand have brought
me my success." But with this approach unchecked, they will grow up to use
their education to achieve their own selfish desires.
If at the beginning of the school day, children are given a moment to reflect on
the moral values which their parents instruct them, they will come to understand
that the knowledge they are taught in school is for the sake of benefiting others,
even before themselves.
And "the children will bring their parents back," by asking them every day: "I
have to go to public school now, and my teacher is going to tell me to think -- you
must tell me what to think about."
